Richtlijnen/norm waaraan voldaan is:

• UN-gecertificeerd voor het transport van gevaarlijke stoffen in de verpakkingsgroepen III en III
• gevaarlijke-goederenklasse Y

6 stappen voor een veilig transport van lithium-ion-accu’s volgens de voorschriften:

1. batterijklemmen verwijderen om kortsluiting te voorkomen
2. de vloer van de bak met granulaatzakken bedekken
3. de accu’s op een afstand van 60-70 mm tot de muren op het granulaat leggen
4. alle tussenruimtes met zakken vullen en de accu’s ermee bedekken
5. deksel sluiten en met de veiligheidsriem vergrendelen
6. weerbestendige kaart met het UN-nummer goed leesbaar buiten op de bak aanbrengen

Veiligheidsinstructie:

• als de bak een ongewoon hoge temperatuur heeft of een bijtende geur afgeeft, mag de inhoud alleen met de passende veiligheidsuitrusting worden verwijderd
• beschadigde bakken mogen niet meer voor gevaarlijke stoffen worden gebruikt
